Lubiatowo and its surroundings

What will delight you Lubiatowo with and its surroundings? First of all, nature. The most beautiful beaches in Poland and vast forests with many opportunities for active recreation. There are many undiscovered and secluded nooks and crannies here. Places where tourists rarely go. There will also be something for lovers of good food.

Beaches

The beach in our region is one of the most beautiful in all of Poland. Clean, wide, with powdery sand, and incredibly peaceful. Outside the summer season, it’s practically deserted. In the summer, it offers a breath of fresh air and space for relaxation. You won’t find a noisy promenade or the bustle of seaside towns here.

The beach is just a 15-minute walk through the forest (1,200 m) – a beautiful, unique dune forest with heather and dwarf pine trees (we are located right below this forest). You can reach the nearest beach entrance via a forest road. Other entrances (approx. 3 km) are also accessible by bike or car.

Why is it worth visiting the Baltic Sea? The sound of waves calms your mind, the crystal-clear air oxygenates the body, sea air regenerates the respiratory system, and iodine is beneficial for the thyroid gland. The best times for this type of sea therapy are autumn, winter, and early spring.

Forest

The forest in Lubiatowo is unique! It’s a dune forest with small hills, dominated by dwarf pines. Here and there, beach sand has covered the paths as you walk. And the ubiquitous heather, which forms vast, purple expanses at the end of summer, also grows here. You’ll also find wild rose, broom, and sea buckthorn. In the summer, you can eat berries straight from the bush.

The Lubiatówka stream flows through the forest near us, emerging at the beach… and a longer walk (about 3 km) will take you to the vast Lubiatowska Dune.

The end of summer also marks the beginning of mushroom season, making the area particularly attractive to mushroom pickers.

Bicycling

While in Lubiatowo, it is worth taking your bikes (or renting them in the village in one of the many rentals). There are many bicycle paths here and they are exceptionally beautiful. They run through the heather forest, near the beach and many resting points. In particular, the beautiful and long Eurovelo bicycle path deserves recognition.

Lubiatowo Dunes

For those who like active forms of recreation, we recommend a wonderful trip along the natural path of the Lubiatowo Dunes, which starts its route 2.5 km from our cottages. Signposts will guide you along the entire path (6 km). Be sure to visit the viewing platform. Silence, space and unforgettable views.

Horse riding

The Lubiatowo area loves horse riding. There are many horse farms that offer horse riding lessons for beginners, and invite experienced riders to ride in the field (horse riding on the beach is an unique experience!).

Restaurants

Regardless of the season, everyone will find something for themselves here – from excellent year-round restaurants to seasonal, atmospheric venues.

Summer is all about fried fish, served in seasonal restaurants and bars – best enjoyed on a terrace overlooking the Baltic Sea. The menu includes fish soup, flounder, cod, and Kashubian herring… Waffles are also a must – after all, they are a symbol of a Baltic Sea vacation.

Year-round, we recommend unique places like Ewa Zaprasza – known for its hospitality and exquisite dishes, or the elegant Luneta & Lorneta at Ciekocinko Palace, where culinary experiences combine with a unique atmosphere.
